The sequence problem
The frame is inspected, it passes, and then plumbers and electricians work through it for weeks.

Multiple studs cut and damaged on a Box Hill build, along with cables run hard against hot water pipes.
Why the frame inspection cannot cover it
Because the damage had not happened yet. The only inspection that catches it is one after the services go in and before the linings.
What it costs to fix
Very little at lock-up. A damaged stud can be reinforced or replaced while the wall is open.
The argument for lock-up
This is the single clearest reason to book the stage, and it is the one owners most often skip.
